Custom Gasket Solutions

Made-to-order precision die-cut stampings

Specialty Sealing Fasteners Since 1954

Custom Gaskets

We will cut your gaskets and parts to your specifications with any desired material and quantity.

Please provide a fully detailed PDF of your product including material type and required tolerances to sales@gaynorgasket.com, and let us know your total quantity; CAD models are also appreciated. We’ll provide a quote based on the estimated cost of tooling and materials, along with a projected timeline.

Capabilities

Our self-sufficient facility can design and fabricate tooling to produce your parts completely in-house.

Die Design

Our die design engineers can work with you to design a tool to suit your timeline and requirements. We utilize AutoCAD and Solid Works with Logo Press3 die design automation software to develop the tools, create strip layouts, and minimize scrap for maximum cost savings, with reduced lead times for design and troubleshooting.

Fabrication

Our tool room can fabricate tools using various techniques and equipment to achieve the level of detail and precision your job requires:

  • Wire EDM, EDM Hole Popping, and EDM Heat Sinking
  • CNC & Manual Milling, Drilling, Tapping, and Turning
  • Grinding, Forming, Blasting, and Tumbling
  • Waterjet, Laser, Shear, and Saw Cutting
  • Value Added Services: Assembly, Cleaning, Passivation, Welding, Heat Treating, and Pemserting
Production

Our pressroom utilizes numerous clicker, beam, traveling head, electric and hydraulic presses, offering up to 80 ton stamping force, capable of up to 1000 strokes per minute, to run your complete production order according to your timeline.

Inspection

We will inspect your parts prior to shipment using various CMM’s, optical comparators, testers, gages, and manual tools to inspect to the highest level of detail and precision you require, ensuring you receive the flawless parts you deserve.

Die-Cutting

We will determine and design the right type of die to best produce your parts cost efficiently with the fastest lead-times.

Steel-Rule Dies

For flat, non-metal parts and gaskets we can develop relatively cheap Steel Rule Dies and stamp out parts within days of receiving your purchase order. We can cut wooden die boards on our CO2 laser, bend steel rule blades on our CNC driven automatic bender, fully assemble in house, and run production in one of our beam, traveling head, or other clicker presses.

Compound dies

For flat, non-metal parts and gaskets we can develop relatively cheap Steel Rule Dies and stamp out parts within days of receiving your purchase order. We can cut wooden die boards on our CO2 laser, bend steel rule blades on our CNC driven automatic bender, fully assemble in house, and run production in one of our beam, traveling head, or other clicker presses.

Compound dies

For simple metal parts such as washers and shims, we can cut internal and external features simultaneously in compound tooling to produce your parts in a single stroke.

Progressive Dies

For complex metal parts we can design progressive tooling to stamp your part by feeding a strip of material through consecutive stations with various operations such as shearing, bending, forming, drawing, coining, embossing, lancing, and blanking.

Prototypes & Low-Quantity Orders

We can cut flat samples of low quantity orders immediately upon receipt of purchase orders without fabricating tooling, by cutting parts on our CO2 or Fiber Lasers, Water jet, or Wire EDM machines. The type of material, thickness and overall size of the part, quantity, and required level of precision all help determine the most cost-efficient technique to be used.

Please also let us know if you have materials to provide for testing.
